Mmmmmm, nice that.

Cheers Ian, and just as a quick update, Now have Hirsch dash and pedals fitted and also my Kenwood Satnav has replaced the Saab Satnav:

I have to comment on the quality of the sound, WOW!!!
I have the 10 speaker audio package in this convertible giving me mids and tweets in the dash, centre dash speaker, door bass speakers, mids in the rear quater panels and a sub in the rear seat back, all Saab originals, all powered by the Saab amps connecte via the conversion leads to the speaker outs of my Kenwood headunit. The sound is fantastic, very little rattle from the door panels (there's some at times on very bass intensive music, but usually not noticeable). Can't really tell there's a sub behind the seats, but the bass is definitely present at a good level. The highs are incredibly clear, and I can deafen the whole highstreet in clarity..
Glad I payed a premium price for this car, just for the lack of hassle I've had with the audio system, no having to run new power cables, Rca leads and speaker cables for an aftermarket sub and amp.
The only downside is that I need to locate a converter for the AM/FM antenna. With the non-satnav cars, the radio antenna is a FAKRA connector. With the cars with Satnav fitted, the FAKRA connector is for the GPS antenna and the radio antenna uses a different convension, It comes from Chrsyler I believe, maybe a mini-SMB connection. Ebay have plenty of Chrsyler to DIN adapters, but I haven't got round to ordering one yet. I don't listen to radio very often so it's not an issue at the moment.
New car, well chuffed
