I think thats why Admin asked me to start a new thread in the coffee bar to keep all the pics of the weekend in one place
so get posting lads, I know I wasnt the only one pointing my camera at anything that was made of Swedish metal & moved!

Blue 96 belongs to Noel Hughes from North Wales. Noel was the previous owner (before Dad) of "my" 96, which was a part-ex deal on our old ex-Mike Wood rally car (ORC 413N) that Noel bought from Dad about 18 years ago. That car has since been retired after close to 15 years of campaigning in the Welsh forests and road rallies. Noel then built up the blue one to replace it, but hasn't competed in it for a couple of years.
Message from the Club - a BIG Thank You to everyone who came out to support us this year, members and non-members alike. I think I managed to speak to most people who wanted to chat, and I probably got a few quid out of you for raffle tickets... Big thanks to the North West SOC branch for putting on the driving test, it was a good bit of fun, and very competitive for the few of us who entered - those who didn't missed out! Thanks to Platinum Saab for bringing their display of new models, and to all of the traders who came alone and donated prizes for the raffle. Fiona won the Neo Bros voucher so I will be figuring out how to use that shortly...thanks chaps
Well done to Tony Grestock for finally completing the restoration of his stunning GT750 - it's been that long I'd forgotten he had it

and what a stunner! It was less than 12 months ago that Tony won the best car award at the IntSaab meet in Holland with his then-just-finished, ultra-rare and fabulously stunning 1950 92B...this guy is incredible! So after 30 years of Saabing and never before seeing a GT750, I've seen two in less than a fortnight

However the biggest thanks goes to Robin Morley and the SW SOC team who hosted the event for us - well done guys!
Will try to get some pics up later in the week, of the awards etc, not going to happen today as we had a nightmare trip back from Farnborough last night - A1 closed at Blyth due to a lorry fire, we were stationary for over 2 hours and I ended up kipping in the car for a bit...knackered today!
