Roll up, Roll up!

This is the fourth year of UKSaabs Fantasy F1. Same principle as Fantasy Football- you pick a team from a limited budget and get points based on the real life performance of your team's components. The value of your team components changes according to their performance. Once you've picked your team it's wait until qualifying for Bahrain March the 14th.

Nb. This game is as much about predicting the risers and fallers as it is about anything else- make money to buy the best team.

Rules and scoring

All you need to do is Register (unless you entered last year in which case you can just log in), then pick your team.

Suggest you set up your account with your UKSaabs username as your username so we all know who is who, call your team whatever you like.

I have set up a league and am happy to administer it again (not that there is much administration to be done). The name of the league is UKSaabsF1 and the password to join is uksaabsf1.

Right, i'm in. I assume we can only have 1 team per league right? If so, i'll put another in the the beginners and pro's league if that's ok.

WildCards F1 in the UKS league and WC Alternative F1 in the Beginners and Pro's league

Yep- capped at 1 team per person, and no team withdrawals permitted. I'll have a few other teams running in other leagues, no doubt (including First timers and Veterans probably).

is it me, or is it harder to set your team up within budget this year?

yes, last year was a strange one because after the 1st race everyone plumped pretty much for Brawn, JB and Rubinho, who were all seriously cheap.... but i mean, this year, I cant have a decent driver lineup (even 1 decent driver, and 2 newbies) without resorting to a Campos and F1USA chassis and engine

Im in anyway... lets hope I do as well on this, as I am in the Fantasy Footie

I actually found it easier this year - I just looked at what Jules chose!

I'm in - but team picked mostly at random and then massaged to get it under the 60M limit - Pity these financial rules do not apply in real life. Team name Rust Bucket Express.

I'm in. As always I've picked with 90% heart and 10% brain. Things will probably get more serious as the season develops. 3rd time at this game - can't wait.

We're in! Just a random team to start with this time around. Never heard of half of the drivers....
Looking for a podium finish this year.
